I found myself saying, "Well, I could just run over there to buy that blacksmith's shop real quick" dozens and dozens of times, so much so that I spent a big chunk of the early game just purchasing property and building my cash reserves. ![]() This may not sound like much, but it ends up being strangely addictive. After burning down a Borgia tower in each of the city's districts, I was able to pay to reopen shops, which in turn offered me a discount and a steady flow of revenue. Even if I didn't care about collecting every last doodad spread across the massive map (really, Rome is bigger than all of AC2's cities combined), I'd be hard-pressed to stop building my burgeoning real-estate empire.
